We are thrilled to announce that the choir will be participating in the Lift Youth Arts Festival in Ballymun this year. Ossia will perform in a concert in The Helix at the end of March as part of the festival. Date to be confirmed.
As part of its 85th anniversary celebrations, St. Vincent De Paul Girl’s School, Griffith Avenue, Marino, is hosting a fashion show in Clontarf Castle on Friday 22nd February. Ossia will be performing before the fashion fundraiser to kickstart the festivities. We are thrilled to be taking part in such an exciting event.

Rehearsals will recommence on Wednesday 16th January at 7pm in Clasac, Alfie Byrne Rd., Clontarf. New members are always welcome but the start of a new term is the best time to join as we will be starting on brand new repertoire. No audition is required, neither is an ability to read music. Ages 9 – 16 are welcome. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you might have.
Come join us on Wednesday 19th December at 7pm in Clasac, Alfie Byrne Rd., Clontarf for an evening of Chritmas music. We will also be joined by special guests The Quintessentials. There is no entrance fee and all are welcome.
Join us on Sunday 9th December for an afternoon of Christmas carols in Fairview Parish Church, Fairview Strand, Dublin. The carol service starts at 3pm and will also feature the CIE Male Voice Choir.
On Friday 19th October Ossia Youth Choir will take part in Amazing Voices – an evening of choral singing featuring several local choirs from Dublin. The concert is being organised by the Drumcondra & District branch of Mental Health Ireland in conjunction with World Mental Health Week and National Choral Singing Week.
‘Amazing Voices’ will take place in All Hallows church, Grace Park Rd., Drumcondra, Dublin 9 at 7:30pm. Tickets are €10. For further information see the event page here.
The summer holidays are drawing to a close and soon we’ll be starting rehearsals once more. We look forward to seeing all our old members – and hopefully a few new faces – at our first rehearsal on Wednesday 12th September at 7pm in Clasac, Alfie Byrne Rd.
National Music Day is taking place on Thursday June 21st and Ossia Youth Choir were scheduled to take part in the celebrations. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict the performance we were due to participate in on Thursday 21st has been rescheduled and the choir are no longer able to participate. There will still be plenty of other fantastic music performances taking place at Clasac, Clontarf however, so we would still encourage everyone to go along and have a listen!
