Norah Walsh is a composer and musician from Co. Kildare currently based in Dublin. She holds a first class honours Bachelor of Music specialising in composition at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama and an ALCM in piano with the London College of Music.
Norah is an established composer and her recent instrumental and vocal works have been performed by various Irish and international groups including Duo Sincronia, the Dublin String Quartet, the Hilltown Ensemble and the DIT Chamber Choir, as well as soloists from the RTÉ National Symphony and Concert Orchestras.
Norah currently works as an accompanist with Ossia Youth Choir, a number of religious choirs and some of Ireland’s leading sopranos and tenors, as well as having a wealth of experience accompanying for examinations, musical productions, corporate choirs and weddings. Norah also works as a performer of contemporary music and as a musical director in her own right.
